| Who are we? |
The
Chinese Culture & Research
Centre at the University of Wolverhampton has now been established
for several years. It is a joint venture between the University
and Tsai Lau-Chi Charity & Culture Foundations with the
purpose to promote communication and understanding between
British
and Chinese communities. The Telford Chinese School was set up in 1994, three years before the Centre itself. The School emphasis is on promoting the cross cultural communication amongst people of different cultural backgrounds through language lessons and various arts based activities. |

What do we do? |
|
For example, we have held some formal workshops on the topics of Chinese art, medicine, and Feng-shui etc. We have three groups meeting regularly in an informal and relaxed way to: - Discover
the Eastern experience of having a long healthy life. We hope
in the future to publish the content of the meetings on
our web site so that those who can not join the meetings
personally
can join us through the internet. |
